then and how can one simulate such with recumbent exercise bikes or
upright exercise bikes for that matter???
Boost the resistance to raise your heart rate to 80 percent... then drop to 65 percent. Repeat... Bring it up... Ease it back... Do as many repetitions as you can for your fitness level and you have superior indoor cycling workouts. That's a form of circuit training in a way since you are varying effort level to cycle the breathing and effort level up and down.
