The Schwinn 20 Recumbent Exercise Bike - What Many of Those Owners Think
The Schwinn
Active 20 Series Recumbent Exercise Bike
is similar to the older model 201 Schwinn which is no longer available.
It's a solid performer
judging from owner feedback. And since it's been around a while, there
are a ton of
feedbacks. It gets high marks for comfort and durability.
This bike doesn't match the features of the Schwinn 230 or the
model
231, but it's highly rated. I suggest you look at the Schwinn
140 Upright Exercise Bike too.
Schwinn 20 Features
- eight levels of magnetic eddy current resistance
- eleven pre-programmed workouts
- contact heart rate sensors
- graphical display of your course profile
- weight: 58 pounds
- recumbent seat offers lower back support

"I've
had this bike
for about 5 weeks now and am very pleased with my purchase. I just sit
in front of the TV and play PS3 for about 1-2 hours every day and burn
plenty of calories. The chair is much more comfortable than our old
standard exercise bike, which is paramount when using it as much as we
do. " also from Amazon.

An older model with lots of feedback and most of it good shows you something. You're getting long-term feedback that's solid and positive. This machine has held up well for the many owners.
I've ridden the Active 20 Series and can not comment on the long-term performance. I can say I like the riding position better than the Proform bike I tried. The seat looks rather cheaper than the more expensive Proform exercise bike but the positioning of the seat made the smaller and less exotic looking seat more comfortable. The feel of the bike is overall lighter than the Schwinn 230 and far different than the feel of the Schwinn Airdyne bike I ride normally.
